About the Teacher
Meet Vincy Ip
Vincy Ip is an experienced and passionate pianist and educator, born and raised in Hong Kong. From a young age, she demonstrated exceptional musical talent, earning gold medal certificates in numerous music festivals and competitions.
After relocating to Vancouver in 2008, she completed the RCM’s ARCT and the BCCM’s Advanced Performer Certificate. She later graduated from the University of Victoria School of Music under Steinway Artist Professor Arthur Rowe.
Since beginning her private piano teaching career in 2015, Vincy has trained students of all ages and backgrounds, helping many successfully prepare for and achieve their RCM examinations. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, she adapts lessons to each student’s needs, goals, and temperament.
